El Farolito association Association El Farolito, founded in April 2003 by Veronika & Alexander
Kumming, was created with the goal of promoting Argentine Tango and strengthening
the world tango community, namely via a monthly publication: El
Farolito – Paris
Tango Magazine. The first issue of El Farolito appeared in June 2003.
Free, entirely bilingual (English –French) and with original quality
content, El Farolito met with strong interest, becoming a publication of reference. Every cover
of El Farolito holds an artistic discovery. In it’s pages, tango’s
biggest names share their stories with enthusiastic readers. Plus, each issue
includes updated agendas and current event information gathering an and ever-growing
public. Throughout its existence, El Farolito has implicated
itself in the growth of the tango community by supporting events and initiatives.
Today, the magazine is distributed by some fifty
associations in France and
around the world. In June 2006, in a continued endeavor to promote tango
activity and interaction, the Association introduced ElFarolito.net, a royal
way to exchange international information: a dedicated tango web portal where
everyone can enter event news… because the development of Argentine
Tango passes first through the awareness of the dynamism of its participants.
